About This Cause

Across Kenya and Africa, millions of children face hunger and poor nutrition; a barrier not just to healthy bodies, but to learning, growth, and dreams. Vegan Hub Africa’s Kitchen Gardens Initiative helps schools and communities take food security into their own hands. By installing sustainable, plant-based gardens in schools, we not only supplement feeding programs with fresh produce but also teach students practical agricultural skills that they can use at home. These gardens become living classrooms where environmental stewardship and self-reliance are cultivated alongside nutritious food. Why It Matters When children learn to grow food, they also learn courage, self-reliance and respect for nature. Schools get healthier meals, families reduce their food costs, and communities come together—because every school garden planted is a step toward a more sustainable, compassionate Kenya. Call to Action Please donate now, share this page with friends, or become a volunteer partner. Your support can plant more gardens, feed more learners, and nurture a generation that knows: food is more than survival—it's an opportunity.
